Messaging Terms
Effective 4 August 2026 · [registered legal business name — pending]
QMetra runs exactly one SMS programme: a one-time passcode that verifies you own the phone number on your account. There is no marketing list, no newsletter, and no recurring send.
Programme summary
- Programme name
- QMetra Account Verification
- Brand
- QMetra — messages identify QMetra by name.
- Message type
- One-time account verification passcodes (2FA / OTP). Transactional only. We never send marketing texts.
- Message frequency
- One message per verification request. In normal use that is one message when you create an account, plus one more each time you ask us to resend the code.
- Cost
- QMetra does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
Consent is given by you, at the moment you ask us to verify your number. There is no pre-checked box, no purchased list, and no way to be subscribed by someone else. Specifically:
- You begin creating a QMetra account.
- You type your own mobile number into the phone field on the sign-up form.
- The disclosure below is displayed directly above the button, before you submit anything.
- You press Continue, which requests the code. Pressing it is the affirmative act of consent.
The disclosure shown at the point of collection
This is the exact wording displayed beside the phone field, reproduced verbatim:
By continuing, you agree to receive a one-time verification code by SMS from QMetra at the number provided. Message frequency is one per verification request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. See our Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy.
And this is where it appears. QMetra is in private beta, so the live sign-up form is not yet linked from this site; the panel below is a static reproduction of that step so the disclosure remains publicly readable.

Getting help
Reply HELP for help. You can also reach a person at [support email address — pending] or [support phone number — pending].
Opting out
Reply STOP to opt out. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT. We will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will send you no further messages.
Because the only message we send is the verification code you request, opting out means you will not be able to complete phone verification, and so will not be able to create or recover an account by that route. To start receiving codes again, reply START or begin verification again from your account settings.
Carriers and delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may be affected by network conditions, your handset, or your carrier's own filtering.
Your number and your privacy
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is passed to our SMS delivery provider for the sole purpose of delivering your verification code. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
If this programme changes we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email.
